Who We Are & What We Do​

The Pre-Medical Society is dedicated to helping UNM undergraduates pursue successful careers in medicine and other healthcare professions by providing opportunities for volunteering, shadowing, research, and professional development.

Bi-Weekly Meetings & Workshops

​We host bi-weekly meetings and workshops every Thursday from 5:30–6:30 PM that include various healthcare professionals in different specialties. Gain hands-on experience, such as suturing and other clinical skills.

​Volunteering Opportunities

We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities that students can sign up for and gain meaningful experiences, serve the community, and build connections. Join our listserv to receive email updates from us and sign up to volunteer.

​Pre-Health Advisement​

​Sign up to schedule an advising appointment with one of our officers, and we can assist you with course planning, extracurricular involvement, applications, interviews, and more. Don’t hesitate to reach out; we’re here to help!
